Wireless History Foundation Spark Award

The wireless industry has been at the foreground of innovation and entrepreneurship for the past 50 years. The course of modern communications has many times been altered by an innovative idea, an unforeseen technological advance, or a unique business twist. This award recognizes those companies and individuals that sparked wireless innovation. The Spark award recognizes current innovators, entrepreneurs or inventors whose businesses today have the potential to affect the future direction of wireless networks, products and services.  View Spark nomination guidelines here.

2023 Spark Recipient

As the inaugural Spark Award recipient, we recognize Eridan as an innovative company that will have a profound impact on the wireless industry. Eridan’s technology enables more efficient use of electrical power by base sites along with significantly purer signals, enabling denser use of spectrum.

The wireless industry worldwide is one of the largest persistent users of electrical power. Any reduction of power consumption, while maintaining coverage, is a win for the industry and the environment. Cleaner use of scarce spectrum, similarly, is a win-win. Eridan’s innovations will have important implications in the future.

Receiving the Spark award on behalf of Eridan during the Wireless Hall of Fame Awards Dinner in Washington DC was Amy Lamboley, VP of Marketing & Business Development and Mashrur Mohiuddin, Director of Application Engineering.  Congratulations, Eridan!
