Mason Fetter

Scholars

8 Aug

Mason is a student at Kansas State University pursuing a master’s degree in Industrial Design.

Goals and Aspirations: I’m passionate about designing products as a medium of creating positive change within our lives and our environment. Within my graduate work, I would like to explore IOT technologies and smart-home systems, and I have been specifically interested in how (completely) wireless charging can change our daily functions. I also love the design community, and try to give back by spending a lot of my time in our college and participate in multiple clubs, positions of leadership, and as a mentor for new students.

After I graduate, I plan on working at a product design consultancy. These firms put innovation, technology, and design first when looking at new products and user experiences. The job grants an ever-changing perspective and a new learning experience each day, and I’m excited to be at the forefront of telling new stories through products.
