Jim Tracy has been a leading force in tower and infrastructure construction, service and maintenance for decades. In addition to his considerable business successes, his drive and determination have been instrumental in advancing safety through his role in the formation of the National Wireless Safety Alliance, a nonprofit assessment and certification organization, and his service, including his role as founding President, of the Tower Family Foundation which was established to benefit families of workers injured or killed on telecommunications sites. He has also played a key role in elevating industry legislative and regulatory concerns before federal and state governmental entities.

Jim serves as CEO of Legacy Telecommunications, LLC a family-owned business he co-founded. Under his leadership, Legacy grew into the leading provider of communications infrastructure services to the Pacific Northwest. He also oversaw the partnering of Legacy with Enertech Holdings, now Ontivity, whose member companies provide turnkey services in the wireless infrastructure services space, including macro towers, small cell, DAS, microwave, structural engineering, utility towers, technology upgrades, civil services, tower modifications, generator services, and project management. Jim continues to work with Enertech, where he serves as an Executive Advisor as well as in acquisitions. Previously, he was the Director of International Business for Premier Industries.

Jim has extensive experience with build-outs in remote workplaces and hostile environments including the Western US, Alaska, Hawaii, Western Canada the Pacific Rim, and Antarctica.  He is also an aviator with over 1700 hours of flight time including high performance, complex, multi-engine and jet aircraft.

During his career, he has continued to demonstrate a dedication to the concerns and the people of the wireless industry. In his roles as former Chairman of NATE, former president of National Wireless Safety Alliance, and president of Tower Family Foundation, he has testified before Congress and represented the industry throughout states across North America.
